Knight without Armour (1937)
Set in during the horrors of the Russian Civil War, a countess, played by Marlene Deitrich becomes mixed up with a British spy who is also mixed with both the Reds and the Whites. Sudden death is ever present as the Reds and Whites alternately gain and cede ground.
Filmed almost entirely at Denham Studios in England with an all-star cast.

A perfect combination: Marlene Dietrich uses a Bolo Mauser to dispatch an assailant.
Marlene Dietrich disguised as a Cossack in tunic and cossack fur hat. Cossack national costume is the only national costume in the world to include a cartridge belt. The only nation in the world to actually realise that a man not wearing a catridge belt is simply not properly dressed. Apart from Mexico, where the national costume is two crossed cartridge belts.
The 1530 on the wagon indicates the gauge in milimeters, which is Soviet gauge. Standard guage is 1485mm.
And the train carries them to freedom
The railway scenes were filmed at Longmore and Denham .
